Delete your Necory account

Delete from the app (recommended)

1. Open Necory and go to Settings → Delete Account.
2. Read the warning and tap Continue.
3. Confirm it's you: enter your password (email accounts) or re-authenticate with your sign-in provider.
4. Type DELETE to confirm. You're signed out immediately and the deletion is scheduled.

The 30-day recovery window

Mistakes happen, so deletion doesn't run instantly. For 30 days your account is deactivated but recoverable: sign back in and the app offers to cancel the deletion, restoring everything. After 30 days, deletion is executed and cannot be undone.

What gets permanently erased

• Your profile (name, email/phone, photo, preferences)
• All vault items — notes, links, photos, documents, voice notes, places — including uploaded files and their edit history
• All conversations and messages with the AI
• All reminders
• The entire money ledger — people, entries, balances
• Explicit memories, relationships, and the learned AI profile
• Your subscription record on our servers and push-notification token

What deletion does not do

• It does not cancel a paid subscription — subscriptions are billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, so also cancel there (App Store → Subscriptions, or Google Play → Payments & subscriptions) to stop renewals.
• Purchase records held by Apple, Google, and our billing processor are retained by them under their own policies — we can't delete those on their systems.

Deleting data without deleting the account

Settings → Delete All Data permanently erases your saved items and conversations but keeps the account itself, if you want a fresh start instead.

If you can't access the app

Email support@necory.com from the email address on your account and ask for deletion. We'll verify it's you and process it under the same 30-day window.
